Workplace Leader Course
We were pleased and privileged to have Linton Sellen share his wisdom and sensible insight
with us along with representatives from Family Visions Inc. and COR Enterprises inc. as our leadership guide and mentor for eight enlightening weeks this spring. Linton Sellen, President of Training Plus Inc., is an experienced manager, trainer, and trainer of supervisors. He has received recognition and distinction through acknowledgements and awards for his outstanding leadership, his exceptional presentation skills and his effective training ability.

Linton has acquired years of firsthand, practical experience as a manager, coach and leader. For the last ten years, he has conducted on-site and classroom training of managers and supervisors and provided sound leadership consultation to businesses and other organizations. He specializes in the area of leadership development ~ examining the leadership role ~ and has developed the Workplace Leader Course to address the issues faced by the leader in the modern workplace.

Linton received his post secondary education from the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba and was selected to represent the Faculty of Law in national competition, receiving the highest individual score on the undefeated U of M team.
Following his Call to the Bar, Linton joined the Royal Canadian Air Force, demonstrating his ability as a leader by finishing first out of 110 on the demanding thirteen week officers' leadership course. He earned his multi-engine pilot wings, the highest instructional category available from the Canadian Air Force. With this and his commission as an officer, he was put in charge of the training and evaluation of Air Force supervisors and instructors. As the head of pilot training at an operational squadron, he was in charge of teaching crew leaders and commanders how to lead their teams on operational missions. In addition, he was chosen to write a manual for other trainers and supervisors, and, to evaluate the performance of a major private aerospace and training company. |
